Marília Mendonça

Marília Mendonça was a Brazilian singer and songwriter, widely regarded as one of the most influential voices in Brazilian sertanejo music. Born on July 22, 1995, she gained fame at a young age for her powerful voice and heartfelt lyrics, often focusing on themes of love, heartbreak, and empowerment. Her breakthrough came with the release of her 2016 album Marília Mendonça – Ao Vivo, which included hits like Infiel and Eu Sei de Cor. Mendonça’s success continued with multiple chart-topping songs, making her one of the most popular and beloved artists in the genre. Tragically, she passed away in a plane crash on November 5, 2021.
